I BOUGHT THIS MONITOR AND NOT ONLY IS IT MADE CHEAPLY, IT DOES NOT CONNECT PROPERLY TO THE POWER CORD AND LOOSES CONNECTION WHEN THE VIDEO CAMERA IS MOVED....YOU NEED TO TAPE THE WIRE DOWN FOR IT TO WORK...
BAD DESIGN FOR A LOT OF $$$
WAS SUPER EXCITED TO GET THIS, WOULD NOT RECCOMEND AT ALL....

5 out of 5 stars Great monitor   July 1, 2010

This baby monitor is very cool! You can track up to 4 cameras with one monitor. It's very easy to use. The picture and sound quality are very good. The battery life might be a little short if you are using full visual and a high audio setting, but this hasn't really been a problem for us because most of the time we keep it plugged in. The range is good, so we can go out into the yard and still keep an eye on the little ones inside. It has a handy clip for hands-free use.

4 out of 5 stars Great Product   June 15, 2010

Video works great. You can choose to change back and forth between cameras every 8 seconds or put up to 4 on one screen. You can turn off the monitor when sleeping, but the audio only monitors only one room. Great distance on signal but digital signal does interfere with wi-fi internet.

1 out of 5 stars Don't buy this! Get a different model!   May 28, 2010

I purchased this monitor for the two camera feature. The picture was very poor and choppy. The range is poor and the sound quality is terrible. We returned it after the first day and bought the Summer 2800 model with an extra camera. Same brand, but much better model. Higher quality video image, better range and battery life. The net cost is about the same as well. Don't waste your money on this one.

1 out of 5 stars Early units are defective   May 21, 2010

We purchased this monitor (the two camera set) from another retailer, and it never worked properly. When we pushed the video on/off button, the audio would stop switching channels. We contacted Summer, who told us there was a manufacturing defect in an entire batch of these. They are supposed to send us a replacement unit when the new shipment arrives in their warehouse, but that won't be for several weeks. I was a little surprised that they were aware of a defect but kept the products on the shelves. Anyway, we hope the new monitor works properly but time will tell.
