Product Description
Safety 1st Comfort Zone Digital MonitorSafety 1st allows parents to monitor more than just sounds with our new Comfort Zone Digital Monitor. The parent unit of the monitoring system gives you an easy way to check the temperature of your baby's room and will automatically alert you if the temperature falls outside the range you set.

Customer Reviews:
1 out of 5 stars Junk   September 1, 2010
Giulio Andreoli (Irvine, California United States)
I own the previous digital monitor model by safety first and because I needed a second monitor to go in the room of our second baby and because the product that I have is no longer sold, I naturally bought what I thought was the new version of the same product. In theory all was well: the new product is smaller/lighter and with more functionality (temperature).

It turned out to be complete junk.

First of all, it takes a PHD to operate (compared to the other one which was super-simple). This is mostly because of the temperature stuff, which by the way doesn't work (temperature is 6-8 degrees F higher than any other thermometer I use). Not only the thermometer is off, but the thing beeps all the time for no reason, even after shutting off the temperature alarm (it will take you time to figure out how to do that).
Also, the distance at which the receiver works from the station is smaller compared to the previous model and we also get plenty of hic-ups, when the monitor stops working. Often we have to restart the monitor because it doesn't work. All in all... pretty awful.

5 out of 5 stars Good Basic Monitor   August 25, 2010

We live in a one-level, very spread out home, so a good monitor is a must. So far, no background noise or interference. The sound is clear and we are very comfortable with the clarity of this monitor. This monitor has a nice clean look. We would definitely recommend this monitor.

5 out of 5 stars Recommended - Great buy   August 25, 2010
Review Man (Richland, WA)
For the cost, this is a great buy. Not only is it wireless (2.4GHz digital technology) but it has digital room temperature display on the parent(wireless)unit. I'm always concerned if my son is too hot or too cold and this is the perfect monitor. I'm surprised there are not more reviews on this item. I recommend it!!!
